Movie night went well last Friday, well, take 2 of movie night. About 150 people came to see Courageous. It’s a great movie and I would even show it again. Please be praying for next month, we’re going to show The Chosen season 1 episode 1. I think in US that season 3 has come out in the theater so I’m looking forward to seeing that, maybe when I’m back in a couple months.
Joy’s wedding was Saturday and it was a fabulous day. Nimeri organized everything and she did such a great job. She definitely has the gift of administration. Joy and Wilson were great and everybody had so much fun.
This week the neighbors started building a wall. Except they were building on Called Christian’s property. They’ve had to take it down twice now for not following the boundary line. Hopefully we’ll get that done correctly and there’ll be a nice wall and nice neighbors. Prayers for that please.
The students have one more week of classes. Then one week of testing. Then they are off for Christmas break until the second week of January. They’ll get to go home and spend some time with their families for the holidays. I’m hoping it’s a good time for them and that they could stand firm in their faith. Continue their walk with the Lord while they’re gone. Prayers for them that they would stand firm.
Also, I think I told you before, I’m teaching English. Some of the students, well they all speak English, but you know there’s different levels of English. So I’ve been teaching some of the students English three times a week. We started to play Hangman and Pictionary to help with word formation. People are enjoying playing a little bit of games while they learn.
Bev is returning to the US next week for her surgery. Prayers for that, for the flight, for her time there. That she could recover well.
Next week I am heading out on a scouting trip for a mission team that’s coming next year. Will be gone just a few days next week.
